18-19 MAJA 2013 | ART YARD SALE Ufficio Primo | ul. Wspólna 62 Warszawa
„To nie tylko targi. To nie tylko wystawa. To coś zdecydowanie więcej.
Art Yard Sale Ufficio Primo to estetyczny majstersztyk, to dwudniowe spotkanie nowoczesnej sztuki z zapierającą dech w piersiach architekturą.” — Gazeta Wyborcza

MalwinaMay, 18 - 19, 2013 - ART YARD SALE Ufficio Primo
Art Yard Sale Ufficio Primo is a unique weekend art fair based in Warsaw, Poland.
The Art Yard Sale already has an impressive track-record and weaves together all aspects of contemporary art: graphics, illustration, painting, photography, design and fashion.
This year's edition will take place in the second half of May – May 18th and 19th – in Ufficio Primo, a stunning and recently revamped building which is a Warsaw institution in its own right.
Art Yard Sale is designed to unite all aspects of contemporary art: graphics, illustration, painting, photography, design and fashion.
The Art Yard Sale provides a unique opportunity to meet and talk with designers as well as buy works by Poland’s most talented artists – both young talent and high-calibre names in the art scene.
For two days, the artists will move their studios and boutiques to the AYS venue.
We want to remind people that the essence of art lies in its social presence.
Art Yard Sale helps designers reach a broader audience.
We want the artworks to be seen by a mass audience and to find their way into private homes instead of being confined to galleries or left to hibernate in museums and bank stocks.
The huge success of the last two editions of Art Yard Sale proved that contemporary art can be incorporated into everyday life and become available for everyone.
We want the Art Yard Sale to – and long last – pin Warsaw on the artist map of Europe.
Art Yard Sale is a platform for cooperation among the participating artists as well between the artists and their audience.

Only true elegance can survive the test of time.
The Ufficio Primo edifice, situated in the very heart of Warsaw, is a truly unparalleled pearl of Polish post-war architecture.
The building, constructed in the 50-ies of the 20th century, initially meant to be the seat of the Presidium of the Government, houses many tasteful, unique solutions, inspired by the Italian Renaissance.
Ufficio Primo is situated in unique, dynamically changing surroundings.
The historical church of St. Peter and St. Paul is located in its direct vicinity, and the main entrance is surrounded by a park with a fountain.
A panoramic view of a bustling metropolis – with its sky-scraping symbols: Marriott Hotel and the Palace of Science and Culture – stretches beyond the windows of the edifice.
